Today is Little Man’s seventh birthday. I still can’t believe how old he is now. He’s in the first grade and is really enjoying himself. We celebrated tonight with our family, my parents and my father in law (my mother in law is in Florida taking care of her step mother who is dying). Here [...]

Today Little Miss Throwsafit turned a big corner. Normally she crawls or walks on her knees around the house, but today she started to stand up and walk everywhere. It was so cool to see her on her feet walking from room to room like a normal four year old. Well, she doesn’t walk with [...]

Today Little Miss Throwsafit is four years old. Four! It’s a cliché to ask this but it’s so true: where has all the time gone?
On Saturday night, we celebrated LMT’s birthday as well as my dad’s who turned 66, I think. I’m losing count. Isn’t that terrible. Anyway, here are a few pictures from our [...]

It looks like Little Miss Throwsafit is feeling much better. I hope and pray this isn’t a false feel better thing like she experienced Thursday. I hope she really is better. I took these pictures earlier today.
Here she is looking sweet and innocent, which she is almost all the time. Well, except for the moments [...]

Well, I was premature when I said we are all on the road to recovery. Little Miss Throwsafit threw up again this morning. Thankfully there was very little in her stomach at the time, but it concerned me nonetheless. I called the pediatrician and took her in. He requested a blood draw to do a [...]

Tonight Little Miss Throwsafit is Little Miss Throwsup. The poor thing started whining a bit earlier this evening and I wasn’t at all clued in to what was wrong. She didn’t want to eat. She drank some milk, but that was it. It wasn’t until after I put her in bed and she threw up [...]

For several months now Little Miss Throwsafit has been walking with a walker and getting more sure footed and more confident every day. She moves her walker around with greater ease all the time. Since it has swivel wheels, she’s able to get around the house and other areas so much easier.
Well, I am thrilled [...]

Winter Oreos that have red filling are here so I bought a pack. Little Miss Throwsafit enjoyed a couple. Can you tell?

That’s what I could have sung for my daughter yesterday. She had a great physical therapy session yesterday. She’s consistently walking so well with her walker that we don’t really need to spot her much anymore, and when she was done walking in PT, I had her walk from the lobby out to the car. [...]

The left side of my baby girl’s face was swollen when she woke up this morning. It extended from up above her ear to her jaw. I’m trying not to panic, trying not to freak. Part of me wants to whisk her out the door and drive her to the emergency room.
But I’m [...]
