Littlest One was completely unexpected. We thought we were done having kids after Little Man and Little Miss Throwsafit. God decided otherwise. After moving Up North and buying Gotts’ Landing and Trophy Waters Fly Shop in January 2007, I found out in late March we were expecting.
Oh, boy.
The day I found out I was pregnant began as an ordinary day.

After being weekenders at our log cabin on the river, we decided to chuck it all in Toledo and move Up North full time. Now we own Gotts’ Landing Canoe Rental and Trophy Waters Fly Shop near the banks of the beautiful and historic AuSable River. Life Up North is simpler, slower, and a lot dirtier, but we love it.
