I am Blissfully Domestic

Categories: Blissfully Domestic, Family — Kim on Dec 29, 2008 @ 9:14 pm Comments (9)

Well, the past day or so has been a bit crazy. It’s been so crazy that I don’t feel very blissfully domestic right now.  Caring for a sick baby is certainly domestic, but it’s not of the blissful variety.
My poor little 13 month old son started throwing up yesterday evening.  He has recently been doing [...]

1 onion, chopped
4 medium unpeeled potatoes cut into pieces
baby carrots - as many as you want
2 cloves garlic, minced

I am Blissfully Domestic - Blissful Home

We’re having our first snow storm here in northern Michigan. The snow started falling around 10:15 this morning and it’s been falling all day. We’ve accumulated about 4-5 inches so far and we’re expecting more over night. So what do we do with all that snow? Build a snowman of course. When Little Man got [...]

Ahh, Oreos. Remember the fun little jingle from years back:
O-O-O-Ice Cold Milk and an OREO Cookie, They forever go together, What a Classic Combination, when [...]

Your daughter has hypotonia

Categories: Blissfully Domestic, Family, Parenting, special needs — Kim on Jul 31, 2008 @ 8:18 am Comments (6)

Those were the words Little Miss Throwsafit’s pediatrician said to me after examining her at her 9 month well visit. Today in my premier post at Blissfully Domestic, I write about the day I learned my daughter has hypotonia.
Please take a few moments, head on over, and take a look. If any of you [...]
