Today Little Miss Throwsafit turned a big corner. Normally she crawls or walks on her knees around the house, but today she started to stand up and walk everywhere. It was so cool to see her on her feet walking from room to room like a normal four year old. Well, she doesn’t walk with the same ease that other kids do. Her gait is wider and stiffer and she still keeps her hands up in front of her to help her keep her balance, but as far as I’m concerned she looks great. Periodically she falls but she laughs, stands up, and keeps on trucking.
Just two years ago, she wasn’t even mobile. All she could do was sit on the floor and rotate in a circle. She wasn’t army crawling or even creeping. Today, she’s walking without her walker.
Amazing.

Hooray for LMT!!! What a great birthday present for her Mama.
Way to go LMT!!!!! You are an amazing little girl! (with exceptional timing)
How amazing!! Awesome:)
What a great 4th of July present you got!! My son is 13 years old and in a wheelchair, so I know how awesome those ‘little steps’ are. The doctors at UofM childrens hospital gave him 2 weeks to live, and he’s 13 now–so never let them tell YOU what your daughter will do. She will let you know in her own time
I’m sure her gait is the most beautiful you have ever seen
Outstanding!
Congrats LMT! You are an amazing superstar — and I know you are God’s precious gift to your family. And we are thankful your Mommy shares all your exciting milestones with her bloggy friends. Lots of people out there pray for you and keep you in our daily thoughts!
Hugs!
