Every July my mom’s side of the family gets together and has a little party that we call the Par-Tee. The men go to play golf (hence the play on words). The women sans kids go to the Ann Arbor art festival while the women with kids go to the Toledo Zoo. Afterward we all meet [...]
Hi! I’m Kim, and this is my life Up North.
After being weekenders at our log cabin on the river, we decided to chuck it all in Toledo and move Up North full time. Now we own Gotts’ Landing Canoe Rental and Trophy Waters Fly Shop near the banks of the beautiful and historic AuSable River. Life Up North is simpler, slower, and a lot dirtier, but we love it.
