Spring in the northwoods

In case some of you didn’t know, I do most of my blogging about conservative politics. I write primarily at Wizbang as well as my personal political site Politics @ Up North Mommy. I also write columns and articles for several news organizations including the Washington Examiner and Pajamas Media.

A few weeks ago one of the editors at Pajamas Media, Rick Moran, asked me to write a piece that was quite a bit different from what I’ve written for them before.  He asked me to write a piece about spring coming to the northwoods. Even though PJM is a news and politics site, he would love to see the site publish more literary pieces as well. 

After putting a lot of love and effort into an article, I sent it to him last week. He loved it. Now, I wrote the piece aware that there was no guarantee it would be published. PJM is a news site and literary pieces are not what they normally publish. But today I got some good news. My column will be published this weekend.  When it is posted, I’ll link to it.
