I have made a promise to myself to lose weight. I had tried several times before, but was unsuccessful because I simply wasn’t exercising. And you really can’t lose weight by just watching your food intake alone because you have to be perfect. And I am not perfect in my eating habits. So I decided to really commit to exercising. You can imagine my excitement when I realized that the gym right around the corner from me offered a number of different membership options. So I signed up for a month to make sure I would really commit to going.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have been going to the gym faithfully, 4-5 days a week, for one whole month and I can see the results. Take a look at these two head shots.

Does it look like I’ve lost weight? Can I hear a hell yeah!
Now I haven’t yet weighed myself because I’m really happy with how I’m looking. I’ll weigh myself eventually but not until I look a little thinner.

Kim, I noticed your new picture BEFORE I read your post. You go girl. You look beautiful – not that I didn’t think you did before. But way to go. Way to stick with it. You are doing great and should be so proud of yourself. Keep drinking lots of water, too!
Hope you’re staying warm. I can’t imagine how cold it must be up here. I’m ready for warmer days – come on, bring on 30 degrees.
you look fabulous. way to go!! you are right about needing to add excercise in order to lose weight. watching what you eat can only go so far. i’ve lost a few pounds in the last few weeks but but know that if i want to reach my goal weight then i’m going to have get my butt moving – off to the treadmill me :0)
