I messed up my son’s teacher’s Christmas gift
Back on November 28th, I ordered my son’s teacher’s Christmas gift. I got her the cutest personalized note cards from Sarah + Abraham. I was so excited, but it’s been about 3 weeks and I hadn’t heard anything.
Well, I looked into it and saw that Sara left me a note in Etsy on November 29th but I never saw it because I didn’t get an email notification. It turns out I never completed the Paypal order. Ugh!
So I reordered my cards today and made sure the Paypal order was sent through completely. Unfortunately, though, I won’t get the cards in time. Little Man’s Christmas party is this Friday, the 19th. I guess I’ll have to send in a card explaining what she’s getting and then give it to her at church once it comes in. Thank goodness she goes to our church or we’d really be in trouble.
Update: Good news! I heard from Sarah + Abraham and the cards will be sent out tomorrow. They may arrive in time afterall. I’m crossing my fingers.

Either way, don’t beat yourself up. I’m sure she’ll appreciate all the thoughtfulness behind the gift….regardless of when it arrives!
And just always remember when you’re feeling bad about gifts being late, that the Christmas season lasts up until the Feast of the Ephiphany.
