I wasn’t able to go on a Sunday drive yesterday because I had family in town all weekend. We were so busy with family activities that the weekend flew by before we knew it.
Sunday Drive will be back next week.
In addition to the family activities, I did a lot of political blogging all weekend about John McCain’s selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. She’s an amazing woman, so please stop by Up North Mommy Talks Politics and Wizbang to see what I had to say.

After being weekenders at our log cabin on the river, we decided to chuck it all in Toledo and move Up North full time. Now we own Gotts’ Landing Canoe Rental and Trophy Waters Fly Shop near the banks of the beautiful and historic AuSable River. Life Up North is simpler, slower, and a lot dirtier, but we love it.
