I bought a sewing machine
It was by accident actually. I bid on a lightly used Viking 300 sewing and embroidery machine and I guess I had the highest bid. I was a bit surprised when I got a note from eBay that said “Congratulations! You just purchased…” Ok. It should be here in a few days and I’m really looking forward to using it.

Congrats on your new machine!
I tweeted you a few minutes ago about this post that I thought you might be interested in: http://wondermommy.wordpress.com/2008/09/01/september-sew-a-long-zoe-day-1/
I’ve never done a sew-a-long and it looks kind of intersting.

Can’t wait to hear how you like it! I inherited my mom’s old machine when she upgraded, but so far I still mooch off her machine for the free advice and babysitting that generally go with it

Congratulations. I did that at a funraiser I went to. I bid on several items and expected to be overbid, but didn’t. It was all for a good cause, though!
Happy Sewing.
