Sarah’s got a boyfriend
I was in the house with the kids when my husband stuck his head in the door and yelled, “there’s a customer out here with a Great Dane.”
Ooh. Another Great Dane. I grabbed Sarah, my camera, and headed out the door.
Hank, the black Great Dane, is 8 months old. Sarah, the fawn Great Dane, is 4 months old. Take a look at these two side by side:
Hoo boy, that’s lotsa dog right there.
As large as Hank is now at just 8 months, one of his humans said he was about the same size at 4 months as Sarah is now at 4 months. We’ve got a lot of dog to look forward to in the next few months.
The two of them had a blast romping all over the back yard as Hank and his humans waited their turn for transport over to the river.
Don’t they look like they’re having so much fun! Hank gave Sarah a run for her money on the wrestling thing, but Sarah held her own just fine, thank you very much.
Oh, and the guy there on the right that I rudely cut off is one of Hank’s humans. And, yes, we allow dogs in our canoes (and only canoes), although I suspect Hank and the humans who shared his canoe probably tipped a number of times.

OH MY WORD!!!!!
I cannot get over how long Hank’s legs are. He kinda makes your Sarah look small.
Did you guys have a Great Dane before or is Sarah your first one? Just curious as to how you came about getting her.
