A Sunday Drive
Even though it was a chilly and somewhat drizzly day Up North, it was still a nice day to go for a drive. My drive today took me about two miles or so down the road from my home and is one of my favorite landscapes.
I just love that view. It makes me want to run out there and explore.
I’ll try to take another shot of it during the color change. Oh my gosh, it’s beautiful during the color change. The leaves are brilliant hues of red, gold, and orange.
While I was standing on the side of the road, I shifted my focus to the right and I noticed this little wooden shack surrounded by trees. I focused in closer and got a beautiful shot.
I love this photo, too, of a view just down the road from the first two.
I feel really blessed to live surrounded by such beautiful scenery

Northern Michigan is beautiful. My in-laws live in Lewiston:) We were just there a few months ago. We love it up there. So relaxing.

Breathtaking pictures. I want to run in that field too!
I love this idea - I remember the Sunday drives my family took when I was young (although my sister and I lobbied hard enough to change the meaning slightly - if we did not complain about being board or poke each other during the drive, we stopped for an ice cream Sunday on the way home :0). I tried to talk my bunch into a Sunday outing today, but had no takers. Instead, I walked my property and took some pictures of my favorite views to share at 4-frogs.

Those are some BEAUTIFUL pictures. I am jealous that you have beauty like that just down the road from you.
I love this idea and played along this week and took the family to an outdoor concert. We didn’t quite get out to nature but we did spend a relaxing evening together as a family away from the house and the phones and the TV and the computers….. I loved it! I can’t wait to do it again
