Thankful Thursday or Life Doesn’t Suck as Much as I Thought Thursday
I’m not sure how I’m feeling yet this morning, so I’m using both titles. The first is nice and sweet; the second has an attitude.
I’m loving Thursdays. Part of the reason I’m so thankful for Thursday is because this is the day Little Miss Throwsafit’s therapists come to our house. For her other physical and speech therapies, we have to drive a half an hour to Grayling because that’s where the therapy office is.
This is our normal schedule for outside therapy:
Monday: speech therapy 10:30am
Tuesday: physical therapy 9:30am
Friday: physical therapy 8:30am followed by speech therapy at 9:30am.
On Thursdays, the Part B therapists (since she’s three years old, she’s transitioned out of Part C Early On into Part B Special Education preschool), who were also the Early On therapists, come to our house. Do you know how wonderful it is that one day a week I don’t have to rush to get all three kids dressed, fed, and out the door in time to get LMT to her therapy? Pretty darn wonderful, indeed.
LMT’s Thursday begins at 8:30am when Judy, her special education early childhood development teacher comes for her appointment. Her speech therapist, Mike, then comes at 9:30am. Finally at 1:00pm her physical therapist Gretchen and her occupational therapist Tammy come together for their appointments.
It’s a busy day for LMT, but it’s made a lot easier by the fact that we’re at home. Thankfully.
Be sure to stop by Fussy’s post.
Update: I just realized that my comments were off! Sorry about that. I fixed it in case anyone is still interested in commenting on my post or just reminding me what a dolt I am.
How embarrassing.
